There are great rewards in experiencing the love and faith of people.
What surprised you the most about the permanent diaconate?
The great difference of requirements and process from one diocese to another. The Raleigh diocese would not accept some of the completed requirements from the Richmond diocese.
What is the most joyful revelation you've had about the diaconate since your ordination?
The true beauty of so many souls.
