When did you first consider a vocation to the permanent diaconate?
2009 just before retiring from military service.
What is your favorite part of being a deacon?
Ministering to those in prison and the sick.
What would you say to someone considering the permanent diaconate?
If you feel the call, do not hesitate to answer it, it is very fulfilling and extremely worth it.
What is the most joyful revelation you’ve had about the diaconate since your ordination?
The whole experience so far has been wonderful.

Who is your favorite saint and why?
Saint Pio of Pietrelcina because of how humble he was, everything he endured without losing faith, and how he took care of everyone he encountered.
